If you can code, there is an endless supply of opportunities out there for you. Software programmers are hands down, the most in demand skill set now and for the foreseeable future.
If you know how to code, or if you’re just studying to become a programmer, you’re making a smart decision. There will be a TON of jobs in this field for a long time to come.
Software development as a means of finding a job abroad is a no brainer (other than the fact that it’s pretty difficult to learn). It pays well, and companies around the world can sponsor a work visa for you with relative ease due to the specialized skill set.
It is the ONE type of job where companies around the world are EAGER AND WILLING to sponsor a work visa.

There are a variety of websites out there where you can practice your coding skills in real life environments. You can play games and receive a rank based on how well you solved the challenge, and then show these games to future employers as a way of demonstrating you know what you’re doing. For programmers there is nothing better than showing your code to prove your merit.
